I’m Lisa North, the designer behind BluMorpha. With more than 20 years of experience in interior decorating, space planning, staging and hands-on design, I help people create homes and workspaces that are functional, personal and beautiful—without starting from scratch.

My background combines design training with practical, hands-on experience and skills. Earlier in my career, I was guest host and was featured on several television design programs, including Restaurant Makeover on HGTV.   I’ve designed and built furniture from reclaimed materials, restored and transformed beloved furniture, worked with residential and commercial clients to help people make better use of their spaces and feel calm in their home.

My approach is simple: work with what you have, make smart choices about what you add, and find creative ways to give existing things a new life.​

I specialize in colour consultations, home and office  planning & organization, cosmetic household repairs, hands on decorating and furniture transformation, with a particular passion for restoring, repurposing and upcycling pieces that still have plenty of life left in them. I even provide handy woman services from time to time!​

 

​I believe good design doesn't have to mean an expensive renovation. Sometimes the biggest transformation comes from a fresh colour, a better layout, a little organization—or seeing the potential in something you already own.
